Set a Passcode / Enable Touch ID

Your CareZone account is protected by a secure password and data encryption. For added security, you can also set a four-digit passcode, or enable Touch ID in your CareZone app.

iPhone and iPad Instructions

Set a Passcode / Enable Touch ID
  1. Tap "<" (back button) to return to the CareZone app Home screen (top left). 
  2. Tap the gear icon (top left).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Passcode Lock.
  5. Tap Turn Passcode On.
  6. Choose a four digit passcode (e.g. "1234")
  7. Re-enter your passcode to confirm.
  8. Tap Require Passcode if you'd like a delay in how long before the app asks for your passcode once it is closed (e.g. 5 minutes, 1 hour).
  9. Tap Done.
  10. Setting your passcode will also automatically activate Touch ID for the CareZone app.

Set a timeout to prompt your Passcode / Touch ID 

  1. Tap the gear icon (top left).
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Passcode Lock.
  4. Enter your four digit passcode to unlock the settings.
  5. Tap Require Passcode to set a timeout period before the app prompts for your passcode. (e.g. "Immediately", "5 mins")
  6. Tap < Passcode Lock (top left). 
  7. Tap Done to save (top right). 

Android Instructions

Passcode isn't available on Android just yet. If you'd like to see this feature added to the Android app, vote on the idea on our Suggestion Board!
