If you received the message, "unable to scan one or more medication names due to image quality", or you're having other troubles scanning medications, we can help.
Here are few tips to help you get better quality scan images:
- Place the medication on a counter so you are not holding it. This can resolve blurring issues.
- Stabilize your phone or tablet using a counter much like a tripod. (Your kitchen counter may be great for this!)
- Rotate the bottle and take several images of the same medication, making sure all parts of the label are visible across several images. Then tap submit. This means using CareZone to scan the entire label, including directions, dosages, and other text on the label (not just the barcode).
- Make sure you are in a very well-lit room.
