What meds are included in the $5 Generic Drug Program?
All doses of the following meds are included in the $5 Generic Drug Program:
- Lisinopril
- Carvedilol
- Furosemide
- Atenolol
- Benazepril
- Bisoprolol-Hctz
- Hydrochlorothiazide
- Citalopram
- Meloxicam
Who can use the $5 Generic Drug Program?
All CareZone Pharmacy customers, with a prescription for medication listed above in the $5 Generic Drug Program, are eligible.
How many days supply do I receive?
The $5 price applies to a 30-day supply, or less, of any drug included in the program. A 90-day supply is available for $15. Unfortunately, 90-day refills cannot be included in the daily pill packets.
What happens if my copay for a prescription is less than $5?
If your copays for a medication in the $5 Generic Drug Program are less than $5, your copays will remain the same. For example, if your copay cost is $0 for Lisinopril, you won’t be charged a copay.
What happens if my copays for a prescription is more than $5?
For all refills dispensed after April 1, 2017, you will be charged $5 for a 30-day supply for any drug included in the $5 Generic Drug Program.
When does the program begin?
The $5 Generic Drug Program begins on April 1, 2017. For all refills dispensed after April 1, 2017, your billing statements will reflect the new price.
